Intelli-Tipper can calculate tip based on your *pre-tax* bill amount (so that you don't tip on your own tax), and then suggests you a cleverly-rounded total amount. One unique feature of this calculator is that it allows reverse calculation of tip percent -- that is, given a total amount, what is the corresponding tip percent? This calculator can also tell you how much each person should pay if you specify more than one person.

Detailed Instructions: To use this calculator, you will need to fill out any two of the following three fields: 1) After-tax bill amount, 2) Before-tax bill amount, and 3) Meal tax in your current city. Then, you can select your preferred tip percentage as well as the number of people to split this bill. Intelli-Tipper provides three modes for you to choose from: 1) Exact Amount, 2) Whole Tip, and 3) Whole Total. Exact Amount shows you the exact tip and total amount at your preferred tip percentage. Whole Tip shows you the tip amount in whole dollars that is closest to your preferred tip percentage. Whole Total gives you the total bill amount in whole dollars that is closest to your preferred tip percentage. By default, Intelli-Tipper will automatically decide which mode is best for you based on your inputs, and display the following elements at the bottom of your screen: 1) Suggested tip amount and its percentage, 2) Total bill amount per person, and 3) Total bill amount for the whole party (if split among two or more people)
